An informational session discussing general guidelines on photographing, video recording or otherwise documenting interactions with law enforcement in public spaces. Free, open to the public. The American Civil Liberties Union of Hawai‘i is a private, non-profit, non-partisan government watchdog that defends individual rights from government abuse. The ACLU regularly provides information sessions at no cost to the public to increase awareness about individual freedoms. Individuals who are aware of their rights under the Constitution are an important check and balance on government abuse of power.
