Apply now for summer internships with the ACLU!

***Update May 2012:  our summer internship program is full, but please consider applying for the fall semester!***

The ACLU of Hawaii is actively seeking applicants for its summer internship program!  We are looking for law students (and other graduate students), undergraduates, and high school students interested in a challenging summer experience.   ACLU interns do everything from drafting legal briefs on cutting-edge constitutional issues to planning/organizing public education events to drafting “Know Your Rights” guides and op/ed pieces.  Former interns have traveled with staff to neighbor islands to interview clients; attended meetings with the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and other elected officials; and had their work published in local news outlets.
