Know your rights and join the fight for fair, equal treatment by government of Honoluluʻs homeless! When government creates laws to seize/sweep peopleʻs property, it must follow its own laws and uphold the Constitution in doing so. In this specific case, that means the City must store, not trash, property seized during sweeps so the rightful owners have a process to reclaim the goods or challenge the taking, as is everyoneʻs equal right. Anything less is unfair treatment and unequal enforcement of laws.

This information provided by the City as part of a stipulated court order in our lawsuit with the law firm of Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, Martin v. City and County of Honolulu. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information, details are subject to change.

Please kōkua! If you experience a sweep on a day when they are not expected, or in a different location than published, please confidentially alert our office.
