This year, Hawai'i Island elects a new prosecutor. This is our chance to elect a fair, reform-minded person who is committed to ending mass incarceration. On Thursday, July 16, you will have the chance to learn more about the role of a prosecutor and hear from the candidates on smart justice issues that are important to you.
We are partnering with HuliHia for this event. The ACLU of Hawai'i does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office, but offered this opportunity to candidates to explain their positions on key smart justice issues to the communities they hope to serve.
