The ACLU of Hawai‘i is not a part of the government and receives no government funds. Our support comes from the contributions of people like you. There are many ways that you can become a part of our mission to protect the rights of everyone:

Join or renew membership Join with the more than 500,000 individuals nationwide, over 1,200 from Hawai‘i, who contribute to the defense of liberty. Membership automatically makes you part of the national ACLU as well as the local Hawai‘i affiliate. You will receive a membership card and a free subscription to the national and local ACLU newsletters. Membership dues (not tax-deductible) underwrite our legislative program. If you prefer not to sign up over the web, we can mail you materials to join the ACLU, please e-mail us or call (808)522-5900.
