2018 ACLU Membership Conference – full scholarships Available

Washington, D.C., June 10-12. ALL EXPENSES PAID*

*(includes air and ground travel, lodging, all conference fees)

TIME SENSITIVE – Application essays (2 pages maximum, PDF format) due via email no later than Monday, 4/30/18, 3:00 p.m. HST. DEADLINE HELD TO TH. 5/10!

The theme of the conference is “You belong here.” The conference is a place where people from different backgrounds and experiences from across the country converge. We’re expecting thousands of like-minded activists to gather in solidarity to create a more perfect union. More on the conference (including the growing list of presenters) can be found at: conference.aclu.org.

There will be two days of issue work, celebration and collaboration, culminating in a Lobby Day on Capitol Hill where volunteers will bring civil rights issues directly to our lawmakers. It’s an amazing opportunity. We’re hoping to host some local folks.

Thanks for your kōkua in helping us bring a delegation to the ACLU Membership Conference that captures the diversity and spirit of our island home. If you have any questions, please contact project coordinator Kit Grant at (808) 522-5904.
